Huston has academic leadership experience in helping teachers develop lesson plans and classroom procedures for behavioral management. He has also facilitated and directly coached district and school leaders in alignment with academic strategies and the identification of high-quality instructional materials. In addition, Huston has designed a visionary leadership curriculum and programming for a nonprofit that doubled constituent participation. Huston holds a Master in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
